A beautiful setting at the head of Glenholm.

This race marks the transition from winter to spring, and conditions can vary from snow cover to spring sunshine.

The route must pack in the most amount of climbing for any race so short. A relentlessly steep climb followed immediately by a thigh-burning descent.

A single race, open to all over 15 age groups, male and female.

Travel directions

Turn right off A701, 1½ miles south of Broughton (Glenholm sign)

Follow single track road south-west for 4 miles to its end.

PARKING is very limited so please car share if possible

Full waterproof cover to be worn or carried.

Although there are 2 Portaloos at the start competitiors are advised to use the public toilets in Broughton
